About Guru
Guru Vidushi Smt. Padmini Achchi is not just an acclaimed dancer but also a patient teacher and creative choreographer. She is known for her creative productions. Her energy is infectious and gets her supporters wherever she goes.
She has been entitled to many honorable awards, which adds to her credits. Her prestigious titles include, ‘Nritya Lanchana’ by Natya Degula Charitable Trust and ‘Vishwa Kannada Kanmani’ by Vishwa Kannada Samrakshana Samiti.
Bharathanatyam
As Bharatamuni states, a heavenly-aesthetic art form, Bharatanatyam, which was sprouted by Lord of Dance Nataraja, Shiva himself, is a concoction of emotions that provide energy to its artists and rasikas. Bharatanatyam was earlier called Sadir, was performed for entertainment, then came to be known as Dasiattam, performed by Devadasis. This ravishing art form was nurtured by various kings of South India, the scriptures and sculptures says it all. Forth coming dancers like Bala Saraswathi, Rukmini Devi Arundale, E Krishna Iyer and many more to add on, uplifted the condemned status of dance during British reign in India. Lately, Bharatanatyam gained it’s recognition worldwide, which grabbed masses to practice this art form and has also made its way to to various prestigious stages under the Government and Cultural Organization.

2016 ಸಾಲಿನ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಿಳಿಜಲ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಬಹಳ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ದಿನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆರು ಜನ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯೆಯರು ಬಹಳ ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ತಾಳ, ಲಯಕ್ಕನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಸಮನ್ಮಯವಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ವತ್ತು ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.

ಭಾರತದ ಸದ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ “ಅಚ್ಚೆ” ದಿನ್ ಅಂದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಅದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅತಿ ಸಮೀಪದಿಂದ “ಅಚ್ಚಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ” ವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ತಿಳಿಜಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಿಸಿದ್ದು ನೃತ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ “ಅಚ್ಚಿ ದಿನ”. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪದ್ಮಿನಿ ಅಚ್ಚಿಯವರ ವಿದ್ವತ್, ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ನೃತ್ಯದ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಅವರ ತಾದಾತ್ಮ್ಯ, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಎಲ್ಲಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ, ನೃತ್ಯಗಾತಿಯರ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಅವರು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಖಂಡಿತ ಅವರು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಗೆ ಏರಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥರು ಹಾಗಾಗಲಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಹಾರೈಕೆ.
ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ನೃತ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಗಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ” ಅಚ್ಚಿ” ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಬ್ಬರದ ಆಡಂಬರದ, ಮಾಡರ್ನ್ ಯುಗ ಅನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಉಳಿವಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಮಿನಿ ಅವರ ಶ್ರಮ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಚ್ಚಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ನೂರಾರು ಕಾಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಸರಿಸುತ್ತ ನಾಡಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ, ದೇಶ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಗಳಿಸಲೆಂದು ಮನತುಂಬಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
